Tri-Card Poker…So Easy A Caveman Can Do It

Tri-Card Poker is so easy a caveman can do it. My mother-in-law has been trying to get me to try this game for years, I don’t know what I was waiting for. I played inside Rushmore Casino and had a great time.

The goal of Tri-Card Poker is to get a higher-ranked poker hand than the dealer. In noneTri-Card Poker, you can place an Ante bet, a Pair Plus bet, or both.

An Ante bet is a bet that your hand will be ranked higher than the dealer’s hand. A Pair Plus bet is a bet that your hand will beĀ  a pair or better.Once a player has decided their bets, they press deal.

The player is dealt three cards face up and the dealer is dealt three cards face down. A player must decide whether their hand is worth pursuing by raising. If a player chooses to fold they loose and bets up to that point.

The dealer’s hand must qualify with the high card and a Queen or with a pair or better. If the dealer’s hand does not qualify, you automatically win even money on the Ante bet and you push on the raised bet.

I tried to stay in as many hands as I could. The dealer doesn’t qualify so often, that even with a player’s own questionable cards, they may be winners. I had so much fun and can not wait to try this in a real casino.
